Not for the first time, Toyota has topped the Australian Forklift Survey, conducted by MHD Supply Chain Solutions magazine and Transport & Logistics News (www.TandLnews.com.au). Conducted every two years, this is the most comprehensive independent forklift survey in Australia. Targeting a broad range of individuals, the survey asks questions from a range of categories relating to ‘brand.’

According to the Australian Forklift Survey, what Australia operators value the most is:

  • Reliability
  • Quality
  • Value
  • Productivity
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Safety

Toyota topped the survey for each one of the above categories – just as they did when the survey was last conducted in 2012. It would seem that Australian operators appreciate the quality, durability and reliability of Toyota forklifts, making it the most popular forklift in Australia according to consumers.

Hyundai

Each year, the National Forklift Championships gets forklift operators from around Australia to complete a number of activities. These activities are designed to test the full spectrum of skills involved in forklift operation with precision, efficiency and safe operating principles. In 2014, one of those tests even included putting a ball through a basketball hoop. Not exactly an everyday operator requirement, but impressive nonetheless.

Organisers of the annual forklift event chose Hyundai as the representative forklift brand for 2014; a highly publicised display of the brand’s popularity within Australia. With state-of-the-art technology and built-in safety systems, Hyundai forklifts offer some of the most advanced internal combustion engines on the market.

A well-loved forklift brand within Australia for many years, Hyundai is widely trusted for its safety, efficiency & compliance with national standards. Its popularity is well-deserved.
